Leadership Committees

Executive Committee

The Springfield Tech Council Executive Committee provides leadership and strategic direction for the organization. Comprised of officers and key committee chairs, the Executive Committee oversees operations, addresses organizational priorities, and helps set long-term goals to advance STC's mission. The Executive Committee may act on behalf of the full Board of Directors to facilitate effective governance and management of Springfield Tech Council.

Membership Committee

The Springfield Tech Council Membership Committee focuses on initiatives to attract and retain members. Committee members work to increase the value of STC membership, connect members to resources and each other, promote member participation, and reach new audiences from Springfield's diverse technology community.

Events Committee

The Springfield Tech Council Events Committee shapes opportunities for members to connect, learn, and network through an exciting slate of events each year. Committee members plan and produce STC's signature events like STC Squared and the Excellence in Technology Awards as well as monthly educational, social and professional development events.

Nominating Committee

The Springfield Tech Council Nominating Committee helps ensure effective leadership for our organization. Committee members review current Board of Directors terms and seek qualified candidates to recommend for election to the Board. The Nominating Committee plays an important role in identifying tech leaders who will advance the Springfield Tech Council's mission through strategic vision and governance.

Growth Committee

The Springfield Tech Council Growth Committee develops partnerships and secures resources to expand STC's impact. Committee members manage relationships with current investors and sponsors as well as pursue new corporate partnerships and sponsorships. The Growth Committee also works to extend STC's reach by building bridges with groups and organizations across Springfield's tech ecosystem. By connecting stakeholders and securing funding and support, the Growth Committee helps power continued progress for STC and broader technology innovation in Springfield.

Finance Committee

The Springfield Tech Council Finance Committee oversees the fiscal health and financial practices of the organization. Committee members review financial statements and policies, provide oversight of budget development, and support the Treasurer in ensuring STC's resources are managed responsibly. The Finance Committee helps safeguard the Springfield Tech Council's assets and sustainability, allowing the organization to pursue its mission for years to come.
