The Springfield Tech Council Scholarship, administered by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, provides $900 to help you take the first step.

If you're a graduating high school senior or current college student passionate about technology, this scholarship is for you. Applicants must be an active member of the Springfield Tech Council or the child or grandchild of an active member. You'll need at least a 2.75 GPA and plan to enroll in an accredited college or technical school to study information technology, computer science or a related field.

Details and Requirements.

  • The Scholarship is for $900

    Application deadline: March 24, 2024

  • • Graduating High School Senior or Current College Student who is an active member of a Springfield Tech Council OR child or grandchild of an active member of the Springfield Tech Council

    • GPA of 2.75 or above; submit transcript

    • Students must be applying to a two or four year accredited college, university of technical training school majoring in IT related degree (CS, CIS, MIS, etc.)

    • Demonstrate financial need; submit FAFSA - EFC

    • One page essay addressing "Why are you pursuing the IT field"

    • Letter of recommendation
