Elevating IT - SRC Holdings Sponsor Guest Post
Guest post by Ryan Stack, CIO, SRC Holdings
I attended the SRC Holdings quarterly Board Meeting yesterday and, thanks to our IT teams, came away from the meeting on cloud nine!
The meeting focused on FY23 financial and operational performance and FY24 projections and accountabilities, with Presidents/GM’s presenting updates for their respective companies. It has been an interesting year across the organization, to say the least! We have talked a lot about 2023 and 2024 being years for us to “clean things up” and get ourselves ready for an improving economy in 2025, and the presentations reflected many of those efforts.
In every presentation throughout the day, our IT teams were mentioned and lauded for so many of the new integrations, implementations, automation, analytics and reporting, applications, capabilities, efficiencies, and other improvements that they have brought to our companies over the past year. Their impact was and is everywhere!
And, if that wasn’t enough, the recognition continued after the presentations were finished. Specifically, there were comments made to everyone in the room by our CEO, EVP’s, and Board members about the level of collaboration amongst our IT teams, their willingness to help one another AND to ask one another for help, and the results they have accomplished by leveraging the collective expertise throughout the SRC family of companies.
Over the past four or five years, we have talked about and experimented with different ways to “elevate IT” in terms of collaboration, impact, perception, etc. Not everything we’ve tried has been a success, but we have grown together, as a team, and I want you to know how proud and inspired I am by how far we’ve come.
