STC August Learning Over Lunch - Keeping Our Humanity in the Age of AI

  • efactory - Idea Loft (2nd floor) 405 North Jefferson Avenue Springfield, MO, 65806 United States (map)

AI is changing how we work faster than most of us can process and with that change comes real fear and uncertainty, whether you're an individual contributor or leading a team. In this session, Jennifer Anderson explores why, as AI takes on more of our tasks, human-to-human connection matters more than ever, not less. AI is a powerful tool, but it can't replace the trust, empathy, and understanding that only people can build with each other.

Attendees will leave with a renewed perspective on how to engage with AI thoughtfully while strengthening the uniquely human skills that foster meaningful relationships, collaboration, and leadership.

Jennifer Anderson is the President of Moving Forward Solutions and a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach with over 25 years of experience helping leaders and teams perform at their best. She has guided executives, managers, and organizations through leadership development, team building, and career strategy — grounded in the belief that stronger, more self-aware leaders build stronger teams. As AI reshapes how companies operate, Jennifer helps people reconnect with what makes them irreplaceably human so they can grow through change without losing themselves in it. Join us at 11:30 for lunch and networking, with the presentation beginning at approximately noon. Members are free, Non-members are $25.
