Learning the Technology of Your Brain: Neuroscience 101 by Beyond Healing.
We’ll focus on a mental wellness topic to close out the year again, by popular demand! This session introduces neuroscience as a practical, accessible toolkit for people who work in fast‑paced, high‑demand technical environments. Rather than treating the brain as a mysterious black box that we know matters, we’ll explore it as a dynamic operating system—one that constantly shapes how you handle stress, collaborate with others, and make decisions under pressure. Participants will learn core principles of brain function, including how stress responses are triggered, how emotional regulation circuits support clarity and creativity, and how relational neurobiology explains trust, conflict, and communication at work.
Sponsored by SRC. Networking and lunch begin at 11:30, with the program beginning at approximately noon. Members are free, non-members are $25.
STC's Learning Over Lunch events are typically held the second Thursday of the month at the efactory. Subject to change based on speaker, venue, and sponsor availability.
