STC November Learning Over Lunch - Workforce Needs Listening Session

  • efactory - Idea Loft (2nd floor) 405 North Jefferson Avenue Springfield, MO, 65806 United States (map)

November brings an opportunity for the tech community to be heard on the topic of Workforce Needs - current and future. Jessica Holden from the Economic Development team at The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce's Economic Development team has a strategic priority to grow a workforce-ready population. Jessica Holden, Business Engagement Coordinator, is gathering input from local employers on their current and future workforce needs. This feedback will help align education and training programs with the skills our employers value most.

Together, we’ll discuss real-world workforce needs, with the goal of informing curriculum at local colleges and high schools and creating a clearer understanding of skills gaps. The insights shared will also be compiled into a comprehensive recap for the community.

Additionally, STC will reserve a portion of time to gather feedback on desired programming and training opportunities in 2026 as we approach our fifth year!

Sponsored by CNH Reman. Members are free, Nonmembers are $25. Networking and lunch begin at 11:30 with programming following at approximately noon.

Please note parking lot changes at efactory due to Renew Jordan Creek. Parking is now available across the street at 404 N Jefferson in the former Meek's lot as well as Lot 47A, 48 and 56 shown on the map. The Boonville lot is closed.
