The Missouri Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (MCCoE), located at the Jordan Valley Innovation Center (JVIC) in Springfield, MO, is a non-profit (501.c.3), Public-Private Partnership between Academia, Industry, Non-Profits and Government, security operations center (SOC) that brings together students, small to medium sized businesses and government agencies, and the community. MCCOE provides a rich, interactive, hands-on learning environment that supports this generation of cybersecurity professional as well as generations to come. We know four (4) things:
Digital infrastructure supports almost every aspect of our lives;
Cyberattacks can devastate business, education, healthcare, the government, and our way of life;
The global cybersecurity workforce shortage has been projected to reach upwards of 1.8 million unfilled positions and the need in our country is in the hundreds of thousands; and
Critical assets cannot be protected unless we fill the cybersecurity skills gap. Our mission is to Secure our Regional Assets while creating a Cybersecurity Ready Workforce!
