In-person assistance available by Codefi staff for registered participants of Springfield Vibeathon. Virtual assistance is also available during this time.
The Springfield Vibeathon is Springfield's first-ever week-long collaborative build event held March 23-27, 2026, happening during Springfield Tech Week. Participants will use vibe coding — an AI-powered approach to software development that lets anyone build real software by describing what they want in plain language — to go from idea to working prototype in just five days. The week kicks off with hands-on training and team formation, followed by independent building days with structured office hours and mentor support to keep momentum going. The week wraps up with project submissions, a unique judging process combining AI scoring with human review of the top entries, and an awards celebration. Cash prizes are on the line. No coding experience required — whether you're a founder with an idea, a developer looking to build faster, or someone who's never written a line of code, there's a place for you. Challenge categories will be announced closer to the event. Note: Advance sign up is required, Springfield Vibeathon registration ends March 16.
