Springfield Tech Week Returns in March 2026, Featuring STC Squared Tech Conference

Springfield Tech Council (STC) will host the second annual Springfield Tech Week from March 23–27, highlighted by the region’s premier technology event, the STC Squared Tech Conference on March 25 at the DoubleTree by Hilton. The weeklong celebration brings together the tech community to highlight innovation and the growing impact of technology in the Springfield region.

Now in its fifth year, STC Squared will feature more than 30 speakers covering topics including AI, leadership, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, software development, and more, along with an exhibition hall of more than 40 technology vendors. More than 700 attendees are expected. Registration is free for STC members and for the first 200 nonmembers, with a $25 fee for additional nonmember registrations. The 2026 conference also marks STC’s fifth anniversary as an organization. A networking happy hour provides attendees with opportunities to build connections with industry peers. Presenting sponsor Pitt Technology Group leads this year’s event, with additional sponsorship from various technology-focused companies. Citywide Events Throughout Tech Week

In partnership with Codefi, Springfield Tech Week will feature Vibeathon, an AI powered software development challenge where participants build working prototypes in five days using natural language prompts. Competitors can win up to $2,500. Registration closes March 16, with an optional virtual intro session on March 10.

Springfield Tech Week includes 20 partner hosted events such as industry tours, networking gatherings, hands on workshops, and community meetups.

  • Missouri State University’s AITCC Student Conference – MSU hosts inaugural collegiate conference for students in tech fields.

  • Tech Therapy the Office Space Way – A unique event allowing participants to destroy frustrating tech as a form of stress relief, hosted by WON Communications and eSCO Processing and Recycling.

  • Women in Tech’s Speed Networking Event – Fast and fun way to connect, open to all genders and hosted by Springfield Women in Technology.

  • Pickle & Chill Pickleball Networking Event – Hosted at The Pickle & Chilly Dill, blending wellness and professional networking by Ruckus and Pitt Technology Group.

  • efactory Free Coworking Day plus Pizza Lunch Social – Enjoy a variety of amenities and new networking opportunities.

  • STC Squared Tech Conference - Join us for STC’s fifth annual tech conference!

  • Post-STC Squared Happy Hour Hosted by TierOne – A networking event for professionals to unwind after the region’s flagship tech conference.

  • Capture the Flag by Missouri Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (MCCoE) – Capture the Flag cyber competition with the opportunity to win monetary prizes.
